El peso superligero Azael Cosio (8-0-2) tuvo un combate sin decisión con el venezolano Jhoan Pérez (7-0-1), tras un cabezazo no intencional que recibió el suramericano y que le provocó una herida que le impidió continuar peleando.

Por otra parte, en el peso wélter, Edwin Gamboa (8-4, 5 nocauts) despachó en el primero a Loel Barrantes (9-2), mientras que el venezolano Pablo “Talentoso” Vásquez (18-0, 17 nocauts) noqueó en tres a Manuel Padilla.

Luis “Pan Blanco” Ríos pasó apuros ante un experimentado Carlos “Shangai” Melo, que muchos vieron ganar, pero al final los jueces dictaminaron en sus tarjetas que el invicto de la 24 de Diciembre seguía siendo el campeón FEDELATIN del peso mínimo, tras ganar en una ajustada decisión mayoritaria.

Después de 10 asaltos, los jueces anotaron: Oldemar Soto (96-94), Ricardo Cerezo (97-93) y Bolívar Araúz (95-95). “Pan Blanco” mejoró su palmarés a 11-0 con 6 KO’s, mientras que Melo cayó a 19-10-2 KO’s.

Walter Tello (14-3, 6 nocauts) superó por decisión unánime a Erick Flores (5-4) en pelea de minimoscas en la Arena Roberto Durán, mientras que el pupilo de Omar Martins, el peso gallo Elvis Saldaña (4-1-1) noqueó en seis a Alejandro Corrales (5-7-1).

El pluma Aristides Quintero (3-2-1) noqueó en el primero a Elvis Aguirre (3-3-1); el supermosca Javier Bethancourt (3-0, 3 nocauts) liquidó en el primero a Eliab Villar (1-2), y en el único duelo femenino de esta extensa cartelera, la venezolano Ámbar Fajardo (7-1, 3 nocauts) derrotó por decisión mayoritaria a la panameña Carmen Saint John (1-1), en un duelo pactado en la división superpluma.
