Muchos han sido los proyectos educativos y culturales que han sido apoyados por la Caja de Ahorros y hoy se tiene la gran oportunidad de apoyar al béisbol, que es sin lugar a dudas uno de los deportes más practicados por los panameños y el que ha llevado al éxito profesional a grandes figuras deportivas de nuestro país en las grandes ligas, como: Calicho Ruíz, Rubén Tejada, Mariano Rivera, Carlos Lee, Bruce Chen, Manny Corpas, Luis Durango, entre otros.

Muchos de ellos han salido de los campeonatos juveniles y es por ello que nos sentimos muy orgullosos en apoyar al béisbol nacional y así contribuir a que más panameños se destaquen y tengan una mejor calidad de vida. Tenemos la convicción de que algún día formen también parte del Salón de la Fama como nuestra gloria del béisbol Rod Carew, quien ha sido el único panameño en tener este honor.

Entusiasma tener 91 jóvenes panameños vigentes en la categoría menor de las grandes ligas comprobando que aquí esta el semillero de los peloteros panameños que brillarán en el universo de las estrellas del béisbol internacional.

Hoy se hace realidad el patrocinio oficial a través de PRODENA, empresa que tiene los derechos de comercialización de este campeonato, ahora Campeonato Nacional de Béisbol Juvenil Copa Caja de Ahorros, ¡Y que empiece nuevamente la fiebre del béisbol!.
