Hoy Inicia Feria Panamá Gastronómica 2011

Como un destino que ofrece múltiples opciones para el visitante, Panamá tiene un atractivo excepcional en su gastronomía que incluye una amplia gama de sitios para degustar de platillos exquisitos por lo cual la Autoridad de Turismo Panamá, promueve a nuestro país como un destino culinario a nivel mundial con el apoyo a la Feria Internacional Panamá Gastronómica 2011.

Esta es la segunda versión de Panamá Gastronómica que tiene como país invitado a USA, y en la cual del 1 al 3 de septiembre se darán cita en el Centro de Convenciones Atlapa una delegación de reconocidos Chefs internacionales, nacionales y una delegación especial representando a la provincia de Chiriquí, por ser esta la provincia invitada.

Un atractivo de esta feria es la Copa Panamá Gastronómica 2011, competencia internacional de escuelas de cocina que recibirá a prestigiosas instituciones de diferentes países de América Latina; además en esta versión de la feria, se estrenará la Ruta del Vino, en la que los asistentes -amantes del vino – podrán recorren una ruta que les permita degustar de una amplia variedad de excepcionales vinos, participar de catas y maridajes de comidas de distintos tipos, creados por chefs de reconocida trayectoria en nuestro país.

Panamá Gastronómica Expo contará con 10,000 m2 de espacio de exhibición, decenas de empresas locales e internacionales participan como expositores, destacando este evento como la principal vitrina de la industria de alimentos y bebidas del país, beneficiando así a quienes se desenvuelven en esta exitosa industria local.

Panamá Gastronómica tiene como objetivo posicionar a Panamá como un importante destino culinario de la región y establecerse como el evento gastronómico de mayor relevancia en la región, siendo cita obligada para todos los amantes del buen comer, tanto profesionales como aficionados.

  Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
