Manuel Vides y Julio “Kikirikí” Escudero despejarán las dudas de su primer combate cuando se enfrenten, el próximo miércoles 22 de agosto, en una cartilla por celebrarse en el Hotel Veneto Casino. La vez anterior que se enfrentaron ambos púgiles, Vides se impuso por decisión unánime, lo que no le gustó a Escudero, quien solicitó la revancha. Ayer en conferencia de prensa, ambos boxeadores señalaron que están listos para salir airosos en el pleito. “Por cualquiera de las dos vías voy a ganar. Me llevo bien con “Kikirikí”, pero arriba del ring somos enemigos; esta vez voy a ganar de forma contundente para que no queden dudas”, dijo Vides sobre el combate. “Me siento bien, fuerte, estoy esperando hacer el peso y con ganas de que suene la campana, quiero pelear”, señaló, por su parte, Escudero. Otro combate interesante es el que sostendrán Israel Dufus, quien reaparece y Robinson Aragón. “Estoy emocionado de volver a pelear en Panamá. Estuve dedicándome a mi profesión de modelo y haciendo otros deportes”, señaló Dufus, quien lució ayer un corte de cabello estilo Neymar. El boxeador calificó de “triste” no participar en los Juegos Olímpicos, debido a que decidió subir al boxeo profesional. “Me atacaron la ansiedad y la inexperiencia de la juventud”, concluyó.
