Los Premio Américas son una iniciativa de CIFAL Atlanta y el Instituto de las Naciones Unidas para la Formación Profesional e Investigaciones (UNITAR) en honor a los funcionarios gubernamentales de países notables en el hemisferio occidental que han implementado con éxito programas y mejores prácticas para la promoción del desarrollo socio-económico y la consecución de los ocho Objetivos del Milenio de las Naciones Unidas.

A través de una competencia anual, los Premio Américas se da en las ocho áreas de acción de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenium de las Naciones Unidas:

• Erradicar la pobreza extrema y el hambre
• Lograr la enseñanza primaria universal
• Promover la igualdad entre los sexos y el empoderamiento de la mujer
• Reducir la mortalidad de los niños
• Mejorar la salud materna
• Combatir el VIH/SIDA, la malaria y otras enfermedades
• Garantizar la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente
• Fomentar una alianza mundial para el desarrollo

Este año en la categoria 1, Erradicar la pobreza extrema y el hambre se lo llevó el Ministro del MIDES Guillermo Ferrufino

  Es como el clásico caso de la deuda. Te deben plata y cuando vas a cobrar, el que te debe te brinca insultandote; llamandote perro para andar cobrandole pendejadas; te rechaza; te ofende y te manda a la verga.
  
  Si criticas algo del gobierno, saldrán personas con intereses que te insultarán ....... PERO TAMBIÉN TE BRINCARÁN IGNORANTES MONUMENTALES QUE SE CREEN CUALQUIER PENDEJADA Y LA DEFIENDEN A MUERTE SIN SIQUIERA SABER SI ES VERDAD O MENTIRA LO QUE DEFIENDEN.
  
  MEDIOCRE ES QUE LE SÓLO VE LO QUE LE PONEN EN FRENTE ... NO ES CAPAZ DE DUDAR Y TRATAR DE VER SI HAY ALGO DETRÁS DE ESTO PORQUE SU CAPACIDAD MENTAL NO SE LOS PERMITE.

    Pense que mas nadie se daba cuenta de esta situacion que planteas, cada ves que opinas mal de algo del gobierno, salen personas respondiendo frases de "Callate Perrata ", y otra como "Y Ustedes que hablan, si ustedes tambien son corruptos ", y que si "Martinelli no se equivoca, el sabe lo que hace ", en fin, piensan que todos estamos inscritos en un partido, no saben que cerca de 600 mil personas en el pais, somos independientes, si votamos, pero sin estar alabando por 5 años a un candidato con tal de que me mantenga en planilla. Eso si debe ser triste vivir asi mendingando.

  Ojala Ferrufino le hubiera dado la misma dedicacion a la de su hijo enfermo

  Si desde hace años se hubiera dedicado a su hijo enfermo como lo ha dedicado a la politica, y a mantenerlo y no dejarle la carga solo a la mama del niño, si se metecia un premio, pero como papa responsable, pero no hacer papel de FILANTROPO con la plata ajena, porque el que lo ve en esa propaganda ridicula de él mismo pagando a los viejitos, y recorriendo dizque caminos en bote, luego en caballo, y subiendo despues montañas, con la mochila de la plata en el hombro, para el mismo darle personalmente el dinero de 100/70 en lugares muy lejanos es detestable, como si la plata fuera de sus cuentas bancarias, y hasta se pone detras de la ventanilla del banco a pagar el mismo, que bajeza y que ridiculez, como si uno fuera estupido, un tipo que de a vaina le alcanza el salario para mantener las dos familias que tiene, FILANTROPOS SON BUFFET Y BILLL GATES, esos si les queda esa propaganda, esos si son requetemillonarios, no este asalariado empleado publico. Y OTRA COSA FERRUFINO, PON A TRABAJAR A LOS DEL MIDES EN EL INTERIOR PORQUE SEGUN TU, EN ESA PROPAGANDA, DAS A ENTENDER QUE NO TIENES NI PERSONAL NI SUCURSALES DEL MIDES EN EL INTERIOR, Y QUE POR ESO EL MISMISIMO MINISTRO VA PERSONALMENTE CADA MES A PAGAR, Y LLEVA GUARDIAS DE SEGURIDAD NO VALLA A SER QUE TE ASALTEN LOS MALEANTES Y TE QUITEN HASTA EL CABALLO.

  Falta Humildad!!

  realmente me alegra que Panamá aparezca destacada con este premio y mas en la figura de una persona como Ferrufino que se ha dedicado a esta labor de hace años desde su programa en TVN y ahora como Ministro, pero lo que no veo justo es que ello sea herramienta para mercadearse y venderse como una panacea de los remedios y mas necesitados, peor todavia si se perfila como presidente, el ha actuado gracias a TVN, a Patrocinadores, y ahora a través del Gobierno, no es ni de su bolsillo ni por sus prompios medios, entonces al final todos somos y hemos sido sus tontos utiles que le han dado esa opción y no es tener voluntad en hacer cosas sino tener humildad en reconocer que es primero una trabajo de muchos canalizado a través de uan sola persona, y por eso reconocer que ese credito no es de él ni tiene su nombre.. es de su figura como ministro y presentador cosa que puede hacer cualquiera..

  Independientemente q gano y si se lo merece o no el premio, la cosa es q pone el nombre de Panama en el mapa mas aun y lo promociona mas en cuanto a lo poco o algo q se hace q obvio no estan haciendo los otros paises. Si yo quisiera ver muchas mas obras en el pais, despues y al cabo tenemos mucho mas botin q antes con los ingresos del canal q antes se iban a USA ahora se queda eso aqui y deben mejor traducirse en mejores carreteras mejor educacion mejor cultura mejor deporte mejores escuelas mejores servicios publicos mejores salarios en fin...pero sea lo q sea con el premio del ministro...merecido o no...nos pone a Panama como un pais q esta adelante de los otros en materia de algo y eso si nos conviene internacionalmente para q vengan y gasten plata aqui....yo ser C3 papa!

  Lo más curioso es que el premio lo otorga un tal "Instituto de Naciones Unidas para la Formación Profesional e Investigación (UNITAR)"
  
  Esto me causa gracia por dos razones:
  
  1. ¿Qué formación PROFESIONAL, concretamente, qué título PROFESIONAL tiene el mi-NiNi-stro para que un Instituto de Formación Profesional lo premie?
  
  2. El tal instituto pertenece a la ONU. Entonces significa que para esto la ONU si tiene credibilidad, pero para la Cinta Costera III, la ONU, de la cual es parte UNESCO, es un cero a la izquierda.

  Ta bien....me alegro por Ferrufino. Pero, la pobreza no es un problema, sino una consecuencia de un factor. El factor es "poder adquisitivo". El bajo poder adquisitivo se da por fomento de los sueldos de hambres que entorno crean un ciclo de pobreza en circulo vicioso. A menos que se empieze por acaparar los sueldos...seguiremos viendo crecimiento paulatino del sector informal que es socio directo de un mercado laboral distorcionado.

    da bastante pena...q una funcion del gobierno q es el ofrecer las garantias y leyes apropiadas para el desarrollo de los ciudadanos por medio de la educacion y oportunidades de trabajo se vea opacada por la malacostumbre politiquera de regalar "plata".
