El presidente del Movimiento Liberal Republicano Nacionalista (Molirena), Sergio González Ruiz, oficializó ayer su candidatura con la que aspira a reelegirse como líder de ese colectivo político por los próximos cuatro años (2013-2017). Para la convección que se efectuará el 28 de octubre.

Ayer, en medio de una caravana, González Ruiz llegó al centro recreativo Los Bohíos Alegres en compañía de los diputados tránsfugas que han saltado del Panameñista al Molirena, Tito Rodríguez, Miguel Fanovich y Pablo Vargas, y el representante de la 24 de Diciembre, Nelson Vergara.

Vamos a llevar este partido al poder y no al barranco y apunten a que para el 2014 vamos a superar los 200 mil inscritos , sostuvo González Ruiz.

González Ruíz va a la reelección sin contrincante. El dirigente del Molirena correrá por otro cinco periodo más al frente del colectivo, aliado del oficialista Cambio Democrático (CD).

Las bases lo piden y yo acepto el reto. Luego de meditar y hacer las consultas con mi equipo de trabajo, hemos considerado aceptar este reto, dijo el militante político este domingo en un encuentro con sus simpatizantes.

Según el presidente del Molirena su decisión obedece, luego que convencionales y dirigentes de las bases de ese colectivo le manifestarán su intención de postularlo para la presidencia del partido del Gallo.

Añadió que la distinción de sus copartidarios al solicitarle que acepte nuevamente la presidencia del colectivo, es por el esfuerzo realizado para fortalecer al partido, colocarlo en el lugar que se merece y permitir que la democracia participativa sea la que impere a lo interno.

Manifestó que seguirá aunando esfuerzos para que su partido no solo siga creciendo, sino que presente a sus mejores hombres y mujeres a cargos de elección.

El Molirena, el cual está aliado con Cambio Democrático (CD), en abril del 2009 contaba con una membresía de 56 mil 889 simpatizantes y para este año alcanza los 111 mil 772. Esto significa que en tres años ha logrado captar unos 54 mil 883 miembros.

El director del Tránsito y miembro de Cambio Democrático, Ventura Vega, quien estuvo presente en la actividad, aprovechó para manifestar su apoyo a González Ruíz y al partido Molirena.
